Meet the team behind WARMTH Community Sauna
BETH
Bethany was one of the initiators of contemporary mobile sauna culture in the UK, founding WARMTH in 2015.
Bethany is a designer and creative entrepreneur, passionate about creating immersive spatial and sensory experiences, whether through sauna-building, theatre and dance productions, or her electronic music as Artists Child.
She is inspired by healing cultures and rituals; she has researched sauna culture in Finland, Turkish hammam design, and worked with Mexican artists reinventing Day of the Dead rituals for a UK audience. Her own healing journey has led her to participate in Mexican temazcals, shamanic sweat lodges and Shipibo plant medicine ceremonies.
To unwind, she enjoys long foraging walks, hot yoga and jiu jitsu.
She is the Artistic Director of WARMTH, leading on artistic collaborations, and looking after all things strategic and financial.
She is the person to contact for bespoke events, and corporate or artistic partnerships.

Nat is the driving force behind finding WARMTH a permanent home in Sheffield. Nat has been a sauna and cold water enthusiast for many years and particularly enjoys the sauna as an alternative community third space.
Nat is passionate about making the sauna experience as accessible as possible for everyone and is keen to draw in marginalised groups who might face cultural, financial or other barriers to accessing wellness spaces.
When she is not sauna-ing or cold water swimming she is mostly found whizzing about on various types of bike.

RO
Roanna is a fine artist based at Yorkshire Artspace in Sheffield. Her practice involves detailed, meticulous drawing and hand embroidery, and it’s this care and attention to detail that she will be bringing to WARMTH.
She has experience running WARMTH as a pop-up sauna at SKINT music and dance festival in 2017, 2018, 2019 & 2022 and in Morecambe in 2019.
Roanna loves tending to her allotment, enjoys outdoor swimming and has recently ventured into the world of aerial hooping!
Ro is the Operations Director for the Sheffield yard, so contact her with any ideas or feedback about the sauna experience or to improve the yard.
